Chesterfield | Full-time, part-time considered pro rata | Study support available
We’re looking to add the right person to our team.
This is a paraplanning-focused role, but we are open-minded about the level of experience and the shape of the position. The most important thing for us is finding someone who fits well with our team, our advisers and the way we look after clients.
For the right individual, we will build the role around their strengths, experience and development goals.
This could suit an experienced paraplanner looking for a fresh challenge in a supportive, client-focused firm. It could also suit someone already working in financial planning support who is ready to take the next step into a more technical paraplanning role.
You’ll be working closely with our advisers, paraplanners and administration team, supporting the delivery of clear, well-structured advice across pensions, investments and protection. The role sits at the heart of our advice process and will involve report writing, research, provider liaison, client file preparation and helping ensure our recommendations are properly documented and delivered to a high standard.
You do not need to match every part of the role from day one. What matters most is that you are motivated, accurate, commercially aware, good with people and keen to keep developing. We’ll support the right candidate in progressing towards formal paraplanning qualifications where appropriate.

At least 3 years’ experience in financial planning, paraplanning, adviser support or a similar role
Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and accurate reports
Good technical understanding across pensions, investments and protection, or a genuine desire to build this further
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
A practical, team-focused approach and a willingness to get involved
A client-first mindset and pride in doing things properly
Confidence using Microsoft Office and financial planning platforms
Working towards the Level 4 Diploma, or already qualified
Previous suitability report writing experience

Experience working directly with advisers and supporting client recommendations
Competitive salary, based on experience and the shape of the role

Support towards qualifications and professional development
You’ll be joining a friendly, professional team where client care, clarity and integrity are at the core of everything we do.
We are not looking to force someone into a rigid job description. We are looking for the right person who can add value to the team and grow with the business.
