About the Role:
A well-established financial planning practice in Beaconsfield is seeking a technically strong Paraplanner to support advisers with research, analysis, and compliant report writing. You will join a professional team focused on delivering high-quality advice and strong client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fact-finding and analyse client information, including objectives and risk profiles
- Research and compare financial products across pensions, investments, and protection
- Build cashflow models and retirement forecasts using Voyant or CashCalc
- Draft suitability letters and technical reports in line with FCA requirements
- Prepare illustrations, provider packs, and supporting documentation
- Support advisers in client review meetings
- Liaise with compliance to ensure files are audit-ready
- Manage case progression and communicate with product providers
- Produce client-facing summaries and documentation
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance documentation is up to date
Skills and Experience Required:
- CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning
- CII Certificate in Paraplanning or CISI qualification advantageous
- Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, taxation, and FCA regulations
- Experience using cashflow modelling software
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Paraplanner role
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines
